Youth stabbed to death in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Aug 28: A youth was stabbed to death following a clash between two rival groups of villagers at Goljarbag Guripara area under Rajpara Police Station here this noon, reports BSS.

The deceased was identified as Shahen Shah, 28, son of Moazzem Ali, a resident of the same area, police said.

ABM Rejaul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Rajpara Police Station, says the clash erupted at around 12 noon as sequel to the previous enmity. At one stage of the violence, some people of the opponent group stabbed Shahen Shah indiscriminately and left him an unconscious state.

Local people immediately rushed him to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) where the attending doctors declared him dead.

A case was filed in this regard.
